It has been a long time since any post was made. I will make a renewed effort. There are a few weeks left in the Hillsboro Winter Market. It is a small, but growing market. The hazelnuts and walnuts look really good this year. We are also hoping to have a few Meyer lemons before the end of the market season. Hope to see you there!
The new seed catalogs have started to arrive. So we are looking forward to getting input for people what kind of plants they will be looking for next spring. Link to our main website and let us know.

It feels like spring is coming!!
It feels like spring will be here any day now. The last few days have been warm and sunny. (I know rain is coming. This is Oregon after all.) The farmers' market applications are being filled out. (An important part of spring in our world.) The first pepper seedling are up. They are so cute and bright green. You can't help, but smiling when you look at them. It is all so inspiring and I can't wait for spring to be here!!

Crazy Seed Buyer
I am really living up to my title of "Crazy Seed Buyer" this year. We are in the process of buying and propagating some really interesting varietes. I have had some help from our customers. We really do listen to their suggestions and it has led us to some fun new things. As I finish up our plant lists for 2008 I'll be posting about some of those plants so check back here to find out about them. Maybe your garden needs something new this year.
